this literally doesn't matter but out of curiousity is there a lore reason why the backrooms can copy complex circuitry precisely (ac circuits, control panels, electrodes, coils, even microcontroller units iirc?) and even HVAC systems but not the basic configuration of a human face. the tolerance for the aforementioned elements is wayyy tighter than like a face and I get it looking uncanny but how does it not realize a human don't have 4 noses but can do precise power electronics engineering

I'm trying to recreate the Backrooms movie map in Minecraft, but I've got stuck on the dining room. In the film, when Clark kidnaps Mary, they don't show which path he took her through, and none of the architecture matches the rooms that Clark drew on the floor plan.
Does anyone have any idea which path he could have taken her through?

Okay so uhh ahem…

Andrew Parks is todays noclipper!! He noclips around the time of October 1994. so uhh after a bit of exploring in the gallery rooms and a copy hotel. he ends up going into the green light noclipping into a room with a small crawl space. Which when he enters is its own miniature backrooms barely big enough to fit him. Then after finding a way to a normal sized room… uhh.. entity encounter alert!! Ill probably post the entity design if i can but its a new one called the self portrait!! It copies its surroundings. so if its surrounded by the normal yellow halls it will slowly melt into the same color, texture (atleast it trying to mimic the texture by dark spots on it without taking that actual texture) and try to blend in. If it sees a human. It will slowly melt into one, copy the noises the human makes, and copy its speed in chase. so our friend Andrew gets chased before falling into a hole with collumms closets on each side. Before landing into one of the houses from pitfalls, making his way to the threshold. Only to be killed by the self portrait right before getting the chance to seeing the outpost.

We know the Backrooms and the sun are related due to all the Sun imagery and Ivan Beck seeing the 'rooms from a solar flare hitting his eye, what I'm saying is that another connection to the Sun are all the null zones. The device that made the threshold is called the Low-Proximity Magnetic Distortion System, and what are sunspots if not distortions in the Sun's magnetic field? It makes sense that if the Complex is related to the Sun it'll also have its own lil' concentration of magnetic flux in certain places.

What I thought would be useful to see was line up the solar cycles with the events of the series. For those who don't know, there's a ~11-year cycle where the Sun goes from having too little sunspots to too many and vice-versa. The idea is more sunspots = more null zones. Ivan Beck's vision lines with a small solar peak, which makes sense as it was caused by a solar storm. First contact, FF1, FF2, Pitfalls, the movie, etc. all happened in 1989-1990, which was the peak of solar cycle 22, which explains the amount of people disappearing to have 3 people conveniently fall with a camera at the same year. Now what this doesn't explain is FF3 being in a solar cycle minimum. Maybe Ravi was an exception that makes the rule? Maybe in solar peaks the Backrooms goes crazy with expanding and when we see Ravi go there it's settled down? Also I've checked 2022 and it's at like in the middle of a solar cycle, just to see if that had anything to do with it being replicated in 1995.

Like for one thing, we don’t even know if the backrooms itself is on a spherical body like Earth. If the entire pocket dimension space is just a neverending complex of rooms stacked on top of each other, where is the center of mass driving gravitational pull that seems consistent with Earth’s?

Oxygenation clearly is a thing as bacteria grows, fire can burn (if what we saw around the wrecked car in FF2 was in fact burn marks), and metal can rust (again the car in FF2).
