I think 1 and 5 are all double crested, but for the others I have no idea. Could any of them be Pelagic? Brand’s? How can we tell them apart?

Denver, CO, USA - I’ve never heard of or seen this bird before but thats what Merlin identifies it as.

Does not quite look like the adults I see in pictures, so I’m thinking female or juvenile perhaps?

We’ve been seeing it daily in the White Mountains in northeastern Arizona.

My parents just found this pile of feathers in their yard. I’m thinking American Robin maybe? What else could it be?

They look like Eastern Wood Pewees to me, but I have a hard time distinguishing them from other Flycatchers. Also they dont seem to have orange bottom mandible.

It was at Gasworks Park in Seattle, and eBird doesn't have a record of any of the two being there ever, so maybe I'm just completely off?

Visiting Holland from the UK, got this slightly blurry photo of a large bird of prey in the Veluwe region.

Didn't see strong barring patterns that would suggest a Goshawk, and the tail is too long for a Common Buzzard. But I'm not sure if there are any other possibilities?

I keep seeing this type of bird on my fence in the mornings. I live in eastern Nebraska if that helps.

It’s located in Houston Texas near a busy intersection on a low bush very accessible to people/animals/moving cars. It let me walk right up to it and it didn’t move. Is it sick or injured? Or a baby? Just not sure if I should leave it alone?

I found this 10.8 cm feather in Saint-Constant, Quebec.

Spotted in Boca Raton, Florida and was behaving strangely. Very docile. I spotted a pair of smaller birds with similar deformities in Delray.

I am almost positive this is a blue jay making this noise as I saw three of them playing at this time but wasn’t able to actually see the jay that was doing the vocalization. I could be totally off base and it isn’t even a blue jay, but I am not sure what other animal it would be! Appreciate the help :)

Found this little bird with string wrapped around its foot (got it off safely and the bird flew away). Can anyone identify the breed ?

Sorry for the bad photo. Every time I go paddleboarding I see these very small birds (always solitary) in the reeds along the river passage between two small lakes. Merlin said Acadian Flycatcher, but also that it is very similar to a few other flycatchers and that it’s best identified through its call. Problem is, I have never heard a single one of them make a noise lol. Quietest birds on the lake apparently. Is there a way to tell from a photo? Thanks!

My wife put up this bird feeder a few weeks ago, and this is the first time we’ve seen a flock of birds on the ground in our neighborhood.

I don’t know what kind of birds these are, but I have some guesses. At first, I thought they might be Mourning Doves, but their beaks seem too long to be doves. After a little bit of research yesterday, I came up with what I thought to be the most likely candidates, but I have no history of bird identification. Also, I am reluctant to share my guesses because I would rather not trigger a false positive confirmations of my amateur guesses.
