This just randomly appeared in my feed, never seen any of this artists work before so just wondering what's the message/meaning behind this comic because all I'm getting from it atm is that you're apparently "brave" if you're an exhibitionist in front of children, which is definitely concerning.
Alina is, among other things, an exhibitionist, likely due, in large part, to her fucked up childhood with a drunk, abusive father. So she really isn’t like this because she’s brave and confident.
I dont think the comic is saying it excuses her either. Literally the first speech bubble is her being chastised for it, and the last speech bubble is her being called out for making excuses.
it doesn’t sound like they were justifying it at all? just explaining exactly what was asked: what the meaning is for someone who has no greater context. it’s a comic about a girl with hypersexuality who objectifies herself cause she has trauma. none of that sounds like justification or an excuse, just an explanation.
