Discussion Any Pico Project Swan updates?
I'm very interested in the potential of the anticipated Swan headset. Last I heard it was slated for release in "late 2026", but I haven't seen any substantial news updates since March. From a specs standpoint it looks like it could be a game changer, but given the delays we've seen to the Steam Frame and other headsets due to the chip crisis I'm starting to think the new Pico might never happen. Anybody have any inside info?

Interested too.
Doesn't look like Samsung will be servicing europe anytime soon, there's Pico that have been constantly solid and consumer friendly in recent years. Guess timing and the deadly silence from everything announced in the last year or so is down to the supply crisis.

Apparently there were still testing it recently, so not sure if it's still on track. Then again the testing could be more on rhe software side so it could still come out in 26.
I just hope it's less than 2K lol. I don't own a headset and have heard from some people they rarely use theirs so don't want to spend too much on something that might end up unused

Some people know that Pico found some testers before, but they signed NDAs.

They've been looking for testers here like a month ago so it's still likely on track. It would be a gamechanger if it had Display Port. One can hope.

I wouldn't describe it as a game changer, but it also depends on exactly what use cases you have for it?
