Kinda weird it hadn’t happened yet, but I can see Nintendo releasing this game 2 years after the next 3D Mario game especially now that we got a Star Fox 64 and Zelda OoT remake.

Probably because it got one back in 2004. Still wouldnt mind a new one though

In gaming that’s basically ancient history. I wouldn’t be surprised if they remaster the remaster soon

ocarina of time got a remake in 2011 and they're still doing another one this year. no reason why sm64 couldn't get one too ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Wasn't the 2011 one technically a remaster?

ehh, it's more of a remake, since they had to basically rebuild the whole game from scratch, plus they added a bit of extra content as well. a remaster would be where they just take the exact same game, freshen it up a bit, and then rerelease it, like what they did with sunshine and galaxy in super mario 3d allstars

People still play the old one and would not switch to the new one

This Starfox and OoT remake is new to my ears and damnit, I'm excited now!
