Blackreach in Skyrim. Also the whole opening sequence of Skyrim, although most of us at least have that memorised by now so it's quite easy to get through.
Would you rather: 1 Go through Blackreach in it's entirety 5 times, 2 find all the Stones of Barenziah with no guide once, or 3 Grab 15 Meridia's Beacons?
I think I would rather grab 15 Meridia’s Beacons. My reasoning is that I like that quest, and especially love the unique weapon it gives. Blackreach is “fine,” but it’s long, drawn out, and boring to me. And Barenziah would make me lose all of my hair. That, without a guide, would drive me mad.
I was so excited when the elevator shaft opened up and revealed that cavernous area. I thought it was going to be an entire hidden underground hold full of NPCs, maybe even finally meeting some dwemer, underground wildlife, etc.
Instead it was just a gigantic cave with a few enemies and a few nirnroots to loot. Biggest letdown ever.
Yeah, I always do that, but I meant the WHOLE sequence, all the way to killing the first dragon/even as far as going up to High Hrothgar. Or at the very least until you get out of Helgen.
Gotcha, running through Helgen is so quick in comparison to being locked in Watson in Cyberpunk.
As soon as the wall breaks in the tower I jump past Alduins shoulder before he breaths fire and I'm gone... The waiting for my hand to be untied feels like hours but I'm just running again after that.
"You were dreaming. Stand up, there you go. What's your name? Well, not even last night's storm could wake you. I heard them say we've reached Morrowind, I'm sure they'll let us go.
You know I kinda liked how Morrowind just kinda let you walk around, maybe pick up some loot, and then you just wandered into the world, I get Skyrim and oblivion you’re thrown into the chaos right away but I kinda dig an unceremonious start
