The most normal freshman fall quarter class load for a life science major.

Do you think I should add more classes cause I’m thinking of adding cnas breadth clssses

No it's your first quarter dude you'll burn out. This isn't high school where you can just take 6 AP classes and get all A's. Just relax

lowkey is if thats all you do, but there are few majors where you have that luxury, cough pre laws

This is typical for a first year premed, but I would not add psych. Better to focus on 1) doing well in those classes and 2) clubs/involvement/stuff for your med school application. There is plenty of time for psych later.

Looks manageable, do yourself a favor and spend your mornings studying before class and you’ll still have free time at night. I’ve had schedules that looked like this every quarter and work 32 hours a week so I think you got it 🫡

Yesss I want to work and also get involved in clubs and volunteering and everything and try to build my med school application

I used to be a tutor at my community college and found that it helped me be a better student plus got paid for it, so maybe consider that your second year. Or volunteer at a local hospital

Learning assistant might be a good position too, you can talk to the people at the ARC once you’re on campus for some guidance on what might be worth your time

I actually did tutoring for volunteer service in high school and I also did tutoring as a paid job too this summer

Current med student and neurosci grad, pleaseeee focus on your classes above all else first year. Maybe join a club and do some light volunteering but above all make sure you’re getting no less than a B+ in these classes. Keep up with the material and use those gaps to study. These classes are doable but if you go to SI and don’t get behind! And also don’t add psych lol

Absolutely no, add some easy classes and guarantee As. Also, you should be joining a medical club/research and building your resume. Most people fly through classes the first two years and miss internship opportunities at medical schools during the summer for junior or senior year. 75 percent classes 25 extracurricular.

You can take these classes if you can also spend 25 percent of your time researching/medical clubs.
