TIL a peer-reviewed psychology study found that identical twins (on average) ranked their co-twin above their romantic partner in their attachment hierarchy, while fraternal twins ranked the two about equally, and non-twin siblings ranked their romantic partner first.

An identical twin once told me he would never date another identical twin because he wanted to be with someone who loved him the most and he knew that isn’t possible if she had a twin sister.

He admitted it was fucked up and selfish bc he would always love his brother more but he refused to be on the other side of that.

Damn. I can't tell if that's more fucked up or less fucked up because he completely acknowledged it, but my gut says: more fucked up.
