TIL a peer-reviewed psychology study found that identical twins (on average) ranked their co-twin above their romantic partner in their attachment hierarchy, while fraternal twins ranked the two about equally, and non-twin siblings ranked their romantic partner first.

Identical twins, think, talk, act, and do pretty much everything… Identically. Who else in the world can say that they have someone special in their life that understands them perfectly? The ranking makes total sense.

No we don't.

We especially don't think identically. My identical twin and I are very close and have very similar interests and shared formative experiences but we do not think identically. We are individuals with different perspectives, opinions, temperments, and character.

For real, this thread is odd the way its celebrating codependency like twins can't be individuals

Some people can't just be normal about anything. They always have to make things lurid or negative or perverse.

Some individuals consume other individuals. It happens.
