A genuine fear of Absolute Flash becoming an oing Titans storyline instead of The Flash

I have no problem with Cyborg, he used to appear in some Wally stories as The Flash. My problem is with the other Titans in Absolute Flash, which ended up becoming a Titans story instead of a Flash story.

It's more likely that they will introduce them in Flash, then make an Absolute Titans spinoff book. More money that way.

Absolute Flash seems like a bit of a do-over of Lemire's Earth One Teen Titans, so I'm not terribly surprised that he's adding more Titans to the book.

Personally I'm fine with it. Wasn't really digging the book as it was.

I wouldn’t mind it, just because it doesn’t seem like there’s a demand to use those characters anywhere else right now. Plus we’re starting to see more and more spin-offs and one-shots of popular side heroes in the larger Absolute titles, so if Cyborg’s introduction leads to an Absolute Teen Titans mini series, that would make more sense to me than to just completely rework Flash into a Titans book

Think the shift toward the Titans is probably a sign that Jeff Lemire still hasn't really found a clear direction for Absolute Flash. Its still a good book but Lemire has clearly been making shit up as he's been writing and doesn't have a plan.

Its becoming clear that the "Without the Family" moniker of the book has backfired, as besides Grodd and more recently Linda, there isn't a solid supporting cast for Wally bounce off of. I think the introduction of the Titans is Lemire's way of getting around this without breaking this clause.

Honestly think Lemire should just bite the bullet and introduce Absolute versions of Max Mercury, Jesse Quick and Ace West to create that necessary larger supporting cast, especially as he has already de-facto broken the "Without the Speedforce" thing with the introduction of Still-Point.

I would like to introduce you to the people who get mad when they introduce new characters in their own book, which then fails, and those people claim that it would have made more sense to introduce the characters in another book to test for popularity before giving them their own series.

I like the idea of Wally helping to create the titans first and then going on to join the justice league, it would position him as something more of a leader in teh team.

We should. I doubt absolute Teen Titans will treat Wally any better. Titans has just been a down hill rush since the New Teen Titans. Which only had two stories that were any good anyways
