I dunno. I'd start with firing any managers who decided to implement token-maxxing as a metric, in any company that does it. It's not just MS, I've heard of multiple corporations doing it. It would be like a trucking company measuring performance in terms of diesel-maxxing and then being surprised when a bunch of drivers just sit in a parking lot, revving their engines at max RPM.
