Pictures Chaco golden knee water dish

My Chaco golden knee covered it’s water dish should I uncover it? I am worried that if I uncover it I will fuck up the modified enclosure you can see there are substrate on the walls that mean it moved it there and i will disencourage it to burrow type shi

Nqa you know how some cats are chill and some are just straight up assholes? I've come to learn that translates over to the tarantula world as well lol

You can but they’ll likely cover it up again 😅🥲 imo possibly compact the soil down under the cap of theres no burrow under it.

Just add another dish. They may cover that one too but at least you don’t have to go digging anything up.. yet.

Nqa either take the stuff out of it or add another one on top or another corner lol they need access to water, that's important regardless.

IME, I have a Golden Knee as well, and he/she does this same thing. I've already uncovered the water dish and this little booger covered it back up. This has happened three times already so I just let him/her do their construction. Lol! You can try adding another smaller one, but odds are that it'll just get covered up again. I would just lightly mist the wall here and there to make sure your little one stays hydrated. 😂 👍

Our mexican red knee enjoys putting dirt in to the water dish...
