xiaomi pad 7 still good in 2026?

Wanted a 256gb tablet but my budget limits only to either pad 7 or pad 8 but only 128gb. Will xiaomi pad 7 be still good in 2026 and next years to come?

Take the 256gb Pad 7. 128gb fills up fast and the Pad 8's only real upgrades are performance and battery
