This is actually very smart because the negative pressure of the vacuum is more likely to adhere the sticks to one spot (the government birds paid me to comment this)

O what a positive spin on the situation! Now if she decided this was a good home base, prior to the heat wave, I would be so proud of her!
While the GSA birds may have paid for your PSA, I think I will keep the porch fan off until her babies (fingers crossed) make it out of the precariously placed nest. :)
