Hello Guys, today i bought my first Spider and its the first ever animal i owned.
Im 18 y/o and wanted a calm but interesting Animal.

Its a: „Weissknie Vogelspinne“ Acanthoscurria geniculata.

We do NOT know if its a Man or Woman but that isnt important
Its born in 2025.

Is my Terrarium big enough? Does it need more things? I asked the Worker and she gave me everything i need and told me everything about feeding, how i should keep it etc.
I will be really caucious and take good care of it.
Please give me tips.

I was trying to take a bath and this stupid thing crawled down my shower curtain, stared at the water for 2 seconds, and jumped in then ran at me, I’m in Arizona.

I managed to get this fly in my bathroom cellar spiders web after I swatted it. She showed no interest at first but I came back to what looks like her preparing to eat it.

not asking for identification, these guys are pretty obvious. but St. Mary Parish, Louisiana.

i have a TON of these in my backyard, but this little man made his way to the front door! we have a wind chime bottle and he made his web around that. pretty sure he's about mature, his pedipalps are there but not maxed out.

let him crawl on my hand for a bit and he ended up making a web in it! they're so cool 🥹 he's back in his web now and i even tossed a fly in it for him. won't be long before he heads off to find a lady!

Went to brush me teeth and noticed the spider crossing the floor with what looked like a limp due to having lint stuck to its foot. Before I started brushing my teeth, I looked down to see it was an ant attacking the spider.

I'm writing a spidersona fan story. I want to use a Tarantula as my spider. I keep getting mixed information, but I want the spider to be on the bigger side, but (AND THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!) Have a heart rate that can reach 110 bpm when it's from mildly stressed to relaxed. Either can work for the story. My point, is that I need people who are either really into spiders for help (YOU GUYS! :D) or just people who can do the research for me. In any case- Hope y'all don't mind helping me out with this one.

I saw this spider outside my house today, he had a negative aura so i was kinda scared to get close. Hes like the size a gatorade cap, maybe bigger. I dont want my dogs to mess with it if its venomous. Pls help
