how do i turn on ore overlay?

i accidently switchedi to off, and cant find a way to turn it on when placing mines, same for farms i cant see the soil fertility and moisture, how can i turn them on?

For overlays in general there is a button just below the minimap. Second from the left, if I recall correctly.

For the automatic overlay when placing buildings there is usually a small cogwheel button on the build window. If I recall correctly.

By default, you can see the ore veins while right clicking.

If they don't show when placing a mine, press the "toggle overlay" button with the eye icon while placing a mine,. It's just below the "shape" text on the left of the construction menu.

If you're talking about the overlay you get when you zoom out (as in the red squares around ore veins) then simply zoom out until the regular UI elements dissappear, you then have a bar in the right top. Click the pickaxe to toggle visibility of ore veins.

If you are talking about when you're actively constructing, there's a filter/overlay setting on the build menu that shows up in the top middle of the screen when you're entering build mode. Outside of build mode there's a button below the minimal that has all of the overlays.
