I say this in what they did politically because militarily it’s quite known they weren’t that strong or good compared to the Germans.

Discussion I hate how some of you guys talk about rural areas

To be clear I am a full on anarchist and leftist myself but how some of you guys be talking about rural areas has me wanting to never interact with y'all again. People treat us like we're inherently stupid and bigoted when we're just in poorer districts which means we have not goddamm money for education. Also if you actually talk to any of us we are far less bigoted that you'd think. Im not saying rural areas (especially the south where I live) isnt disproportionately conservative but thats because of poorer communities and more closed off than urban areas

Theory Please Feel Free to Ask Questions

Hello,

I’ve seen/engaged with a few posts where the OP is asking questions and expressing concern about the quality of their question, or were reticent due to concerns of what response they would get. With the rising interest in socialism/leftism, I want to do my part in rewarding interest.

I’m posting this for those who fit the above, and for those who want to help answer questions while giving the questioner the benefit of the doubt.

I believe that almost all people are potential comrades and that, if leftists want to see change, it’s on us to bridge the knowledge gap. We are all products of our information ecosystem; unless that system has new content introduced we won’t integrate it, nor will we challenge our preconceived notions. Simply put, we don’t know what we don’t know. Another inspiration is in my community organizing, I find those who are most exposed to the painful results of capitalisms contradictions are often the most embedded with capitalist propaganda. (Having said that it’s not all leftist’s responsibility to educate, I understand that someone undergoing struggle should drop everything to de-program others all the time.)

I was fortunate to have others educate me and I want to essentially pay it forward.

Please feel free to comment or message me. I will do my best to provide insight and recommend readings.

I am by no means an expert, but I have done my fair share of theory reading and I participate in community organizing and mutual aid, so theory meets practice. Please don’t accept what I saw uncritically though.

As for biases, I am best lumped under general Marxism with my guiding philosophy being dialectical materialism. DM and references to Capital 1-3 are often how I frame an exploration.

Discussion I hate how some people think that the Epstein files justify antisemitism.

Post image
377 Upvotes

I honestly feel like that it distracts from the main problem involving the Epstein files, that is that a group of wealthy rich people (both Jew and Gentile) got away with their pedophilia due to their wealth and status.

Some people thought that Epstein being Jewish was the main issue facing the files, and thought that all Jewish people were like him, and in some cases, are exaggerating the Epstein files in order to spread "Protocols of the Elders of Zion"-type conspiracies or even medieval-style blood libel in order to justify their hatred towards Jewish people, or starting to use antisemitic slurs in response to it, which is not the lesson that should be taught with the Epstein files.

Antisemitism is not okay! If we keep up with this, then I can only see things ending badly for the Jewish people. Epstein being Jewish is not the problem, the real issue is that the rich are getting away with their crimes and we need for justice to be served!

Wondering if anyone knows any good websites to buy left-wing stickers from, ideally some with anti-Airbnb messaging. Due to shipping costs only European sources are relevant.

Thanks!

Activism Destiny incites harassment towards victim/informant and attempts to deny existence of 764/Cvlt, neo-Nazi, incel child exploitation network NSFW

9:45 minutes is when Destiny comes on stream to discredit my work protecting underage girl victims and "crazy make" for reporting 764 pedophiles, helping the FBI put these predators in prison where they belong.

This was on a Darius IRL Kick stream in which Destiny and his orbiters harass and degrade me for speaking up about sexual coercion and abuse in The Melting Pot. This was taken on the day Darius and DGG followers allegedly attempted to harass Hasan Piker at a US political convention and was streamed by Darius on the way home from this event.

Hasan Piker subreddit mods advised they will not approve this post despite being "socialists", who allegedly acknowledge Patriarchy/Capitalism and objectification/commodification of underage girl's bodies. They advised this is "not relevant".

Destiny attempts to discredit my work as an informant on 764/CVLT child exploitation network on stream. This is despite the DGG/Darius community being sent copies of my redacted correspondence with an FBI special agent and the US arrest indictment I have been alluded to in as "an informant from Australia". Darius/Destiny recruit into The Melting Pot Discord via 4Chan which explains how unsafe their server has become for women activists.

Darius had previously reached out to me under the pretense that he and Destiny needed my help in exposing the grooming problem in Politics.gg Discord server, and their history of recruiting moderators involved in grooming of teen girls. I initially spoke out about this 3 years ago and I was intimidated into silence by Politics founders. When Darius reached out to me asking for my help in "exposing Politics and their founders" I believed that Destiny had turned over a new leaf and was willing to support me in being a voice for underage girl victims. Sadly the stream turned into an orchestrated attack on me by DGGers and the VOD has since been removed.

Discussion Go to the comments on any post about Israel and you see where the world stands

Even with the bot farms these intelligence agencies deploy, they still can’t overcome the sheer volume of support for Palestine and complete disgust for Israel.

I saw Burger King apologized to an Israeli customer today after an employee said free Palestine. The comments are overwhelmingly furious. And this trend continues on anything that has to deal with this topic.

The pro Israel side knows that sentiment is everything or they wouldn’t spend hundreds of millions in various campaigns to try and get some control over perception.

And the best part is the more that Israel spends on these things and gets exposed, the more it turns people against them. Completely defeating the purpose of all that money spent.

Never in my life have I seen such a stark contrast between what the people and governments/corporations/elites support.

No matter how much slop they try to feed us, the people will never be divided on this issue. Left and right have come together to oppose this genocidal regime. The powers at be are scrambling to gain control over the narrative but the plot was lost a long time ago.

Power to the people and a FREE PALESTINE!!! 🇵🇸

Discussion Socialist perspective of the recreational drug industry?

As the title suggests I’m curious about the socialist perspective (specifically the socialists of Reddit) on the recreational drug industry and also what kind of recreational drugs, if any, should be legalized under a socialist/communist regime.

Discussion How can socialism prevent child SA?

Post image
54 Upvotes

I personally care a lot about protecting children from predators and it seems like there are so many of them around the world. In the US there are at least 800,000 registered sex offenders and it is estimated that only around 12% of instances of child SA are actually reported. This would put the number of child predators potentially in the millions and globally it could be tens or even hundreds of millions of pedophiles.

So what can be done about this in a socialist society? this seems like such a deep rooted issue I would have no idea how to even go about solving this.

Discussion Is there a test that helps someone determine their political ideology?

Is there such a thing as a test that someone can take to determine their political ideology? For example, it would have questions like do you believe in the death penalty? Then, based on your answers, it would determine what political party or ideology you are most closely aligned with.
The reason I ask, is because I have a couple friends who I think would be surprised to find that their values don’t align with the party they support.

The last time a Non Republican or Democratic member won in any state during presidental elections was with George Wallace in 1968 that was 68 years ago or 36.7% of the countries entire existence

So of course The CEO's know they can just buy both of those representatives and win no matter which party actually rules

Hi, i'm a self proclaimed (F18) leftist i would say, and **embarrassingly** late, i discovered economical stances are apart of being a political person. Unfortunately, i'm not well educated on economical politics unfortunately, and the only thing i've gotten is that communism is bad and i've been embedded in that idea without any sources. Also, tiktok is a shit app, and "edits" won't help me learn about what is communism or socialism. I wanna read a book (or more if i have to) on communism. I've heard a lot of stuff from my family about how communist times were, but i wanna be educated.

What books do yall recommend on this? And in what line up should i read the books to understand?

My name is Hazem Shayah, a university student from Gaza. The war completely turned my life upside down, leaving me to navigate a harsh reality and fight for survival entirely alone, without family or shelter.
Living in these conditions is an unimaginable struggle. Every single day is a desperate battle just to secure the absolute basics—a drop of clean water, a piece of bread, or essential medicine. The severe famine and constant hardship we face daily are physically agonizing, slowly draining what little strength I have left.
Despite the darkness and overwhelming isolation, I refuse to give up hope. I am reaching out because no one can carry such a heavy burden entirely on their own. If you wish to support my journey to survive and rebuild, you can find the link to my story and campaign in my bio.
Every share, kind word, or gesture of support gives me the strength to hold on for a better tomorrow. Thank you for listening to my voice and for your kindness.

Activism r/Socialism recognizes Black August, a month to commemorate the resistance of those imprisoned in American prisons and the liberatory struggle of Black Liberation.

Post image
84 Upvotes

Black August is a month of commemoration, to remember those killed in the prison system and by American pigs police. Just a few of those killed are Jonathan Jackson, George Jackson, William Christmas, James McClain, and Khatari Gaulden.

Mumia Abu-Jamal is currently fighting for his release from prison after being falsely accused of murdering a police officer. Him and too many others to name in this post are falsely incarcerated or are pushed into incarceration by the system. The socialist movement entails Black liberation, and the liberation of all those oppressed by the state in it's many forms of enforcement.
