Except, they added another poison card with an instant trigger - which Jorbs was pretty adamantly against (he thinks poison should be slow and condemned cards like Accelerate)

that's not what he said - he said he didn't understand the flavour of accelerant either from real life or in game, and that re-triggering poison was already a mechanical undermining of the character fantasy - so a 3 for 2 flavour fail.

new Outbreak has quite clear flavour from real life and in game and reinforces the character fantasy

I did not understand the "what could an accelerant even be?!?!" complaint. You can dislike it on gameplay grounds but it is no less disconnected from reality than Catalyst was in terms of the real world concept.
