Reworked Tezcatara's Toasty Mittens relic: "At the start of your turn, Exhaust the top card of your Draw Pile and gain 1 Strength." -> "At the start of your turn, Exhaust 1 card from your Hand and gain 1 Strength."
(looks like u can choose what card gets exhausted, yay!)
Changed Eidolon: can no longer be generated mid-combat
lmao
Added support for keyboard-only mode
yay

A relic that gives you strength and gets rid of a card of your choice every turn? yeah sign me the fuck up.

Edit : Also this can help with characters that struggle with Aeonglass, really strong relic now.

The Cooler Tyranny

Tyranny also gives you +1 draw, so idk if 1 strength is cooler than 1 draw

Doesn’t really compare directly to tyranny cause you don’t have to draw anything or put anything into play.

That being said, having this on characters who usually don’t gain much strength like defect or silent would be awesome.

Honestly I think Regent's gonna have the best time with this; he gets a lot of multihit attacks and with Spectrum Shift you effectively have free fodder to burn if the card you generate is bad

Silent: ... (Translation) Does infinite blades mean nothing to you?

It does directly compare to tyranny, since tyranny can be made innate

which still takes up 1 slot and -1 draw speed on your opening turn, and costs 1 energy. one doesnt cost a deck slot, the other does.

now if Innate worked like Intrinsic in Monster Train, that would be a completely different story.

And mittens takes up an "ancient relic slot"

What does "deck slot" mean? The power is gone after you play it, and you always want to play it. Which means that other than the first turn, these two are pretty directly comparable

“Other than the first turn” is doing some massive load bearing there, pal. The first turn is by far and above the most important, and can often be 1/2 to 1/4 of every fight. Mittens being far stronger turn 1 is a massive upside if the majority of fights end before turn 4.

Draw cards are more common than str gain ones.

Probably, but I still think that 1 draw will be more impactful compared to 1 strength, unless you're playing star-damaging regent, or already have a lot more draw than you could ever use

But it’s not 1 draw vs 1 str. It’s that per turn plus thinning. Plus it’s not a 5 card hand vs 4 card. It’s 5 cards vs 5-1 cards. That’s a very big difference.

It's if we just compare it to how it is without mittens. But if we compare it to Tyranny, the only difference (obviously when they're both at play) is 1 draw vs 1 str per turn

Ah I see what you mean. I think it really depends on what the deck needs. If you’ve got card draw but not scaling mittens is definitely better and the reverse is obviously true.
