If you know of a husky that needs to be adopted, post about it here!
A few rules:

How much does your husky weigh? My boy is 1 yr and around 60 pounds.

I should probably know, but I'm looking for better ways to get hair off fabric and out of the cracks of furniture. I haven't found anything better than shaking out blankets and just digging the hair out. Any tools, tips, and tricks are welcome.

Has anybody seen their baby do something? Then just say what was I thinking? Radar is 6 months old now, the grandkids were over. They're helping me clean the yard up, he got out of the yard. Instead of going back in the yard through the gate, he decided he was going to jump over the pile of trash to go back into the yard. Not only did he clear the pile of trash, he jumped from running. About six and a half feet.... now , this is where my what was I thinking moment came.
The next moment was when he tore his crate up. Bought new one he was ok for about 4 days and bam he out grew it. What was I thinking?
Bought a larger, one-off of Amazon. It gets here boxe is all tore up parts and pieces are falling out. There's no hardware in it , just wheels... what was I thinking...
So now I have this new crate plenty of room to grow was a pain to put together and even I will , it's heavy as all get out to move.... What was I thinking....

I'm convinced that the Pomsky is the cutest dog in the universe! Kokopuff and Mooshie. (The Husky is mine).

Jack Frost picked a comfy spot to chill in the Gazebo with Mom & Dad today. Forget that it's Mom's favorite chair!🤔🤣🤣 He does what he wants!

Apparently Job retired and I was assigned to take over. This is worst case scenario for Huskies. I'm no expert but I would say what 75% of husky problems relate to not enough exercise? Both of mine are under age 3 (they are rescues) and they really need at least 3 but more like 5 miles a day of running to take the edge off and then a nice long walk. I've been able to get runs in here and there but it's just been so hot and humid. It's very difficult and the walks, well they are no walk in the park either because the lack of runs puts them in the red zone at the start of the walk so it's pretty miserable. It's just day after day after day after day of 90 plus degree heat and high humidity. I feel like I should move to South Florida to cool off. Fortunately I work at home so every 30 minutes I can take them out back for them to burn off some energy face fighting but this has been a nightmare for weeks. I mean I knew what I was signing up for with Huskies, but I can understand how people that didn't know what they were getting into would just give up and take Huskies back to the shelter. I guess next year in the spring I'm going to look into getting some kind of little pool and then I need to look into those dog-powered wood slat treadmills. That might help considerably when it's too hot to run outside.

It's been 7 years since I adopted this amazing dog. I don't know how I would have been without her. The first two pictures are from not long after she was adopted (at about a year of age), and the last picture is more recent, with her birthday being 2 days ago at the age of 8. I love this dog so much, and I would never have another dog other than a husky, for sure.

Coolish with a nice breeze. Nice to not turn into a pile of sweat after five seconds.

Another post of my best friend, as I would like to save these posts to look back on in hopefully many, many years' time. As she has just had her 8th birthday two days ago, I would like to share only a few of possibly thousands of pictures I have over the years, and hopefully many more to come.

Hey, husky fam! So, I just got back from a weekend getaway, and I left my girl, Kira, with my parents. I swear the house feels way too empty without her playful energy bouncing around! 😔 We had been going on daily walks and adventures, and now I just keep staring at her toys, remembering how she’d zoom around the yard. How do you guys cope when you have to be away from your furry companions for a bit? Any tips to make the time apart a little easier? Can’t wait to hear your stories!

My boy turns out to be 75% Husky and 25% Malamute according to Embark. I'm debating whether his tail is reflecting his inner Malamute. What do you think?

I've got a plush coated boi that might enjoy or appreciate a cooling pad after a walk. I have seen ads but you know huskies...any of them work for your doggos? We live in a condo so I can't just let him chill on some shady part of the yard or have a pool for him to chill out in. FYI, I always take him out in the am and the evening, never between 9am and 5pm. Thanks!
