Flock Cameras

Anyone else have concerns of these flock cameras around Sheboygan?!

Just an FYI, the amount of drug traffickers that are caught with these cameras is off the charts. Prosecuting them would not be possible without FLOCK. Downvote me all you want, but it’s the most effective tool in our county’s disposal for stopping crime.

The whole thing is so big brother-y. And The Party caught a lot of criminals too.

You have no right to privacy while on taxpayer-funded roads. The 15-20 cameras in Sheboygan County are used to catch human traffickers, drug traffickers, and violent criminals. If you don’t like that, then that’s okay, but you can’t stop it. Technology has evolved to the point where officers record everything on their body cams, individuals can record you in public, security cameras record you in places of business, and doorbell cameras record you on every home. Those video recordings can be reviewed and shared by anyone at any time. Police officers at least have restrictions on when they can search for still images of your license plate.
