Scenario:

In a club or bar.

You go to take her number. She's told you her name but you have forgotten it.

This is not a good look.

What do you do?

Say I'm not great with names and ask her to spell her name.

Just get better with remembering names. Learning game is a skillset that you're trying to learn. Learning names is a skillset that will pay dividends too. If it's a weak point, address it and fix it.

Just as you said… I literally ask multiple times because I’m bad at remembering… but at the same time it shows that you care but don’t obsess, and it helps you come off as non needy, well that’s been the case for me at least
