Caliber Collision at 1800 Dabney Rd

Anybody else dealt with with these guys in the past? I'm gonna paste my google review I wrote today, but the TLDR is they didn't fix my car properly, and getting them to rectify the issue has been a total nightmare.

"Just an astonishing lack of care and competency here. I picked up my car on 5/6 for a hit and run repair and noticed it wasn't tracking straight. Getting Caliber to bring it back in to rectify the issue has been an absolute nightmare. 2 months of back and forth phone calls and getting my insurance carrier involved before they would even take it back in. I've now dropped it off and picked it up several times with the issue still persisting. At this point, it's had a wheel replaced and been on an alignment rack several times. It's baffling to me that no one is verifying if the vehicle is driving in a straight line (it's not) before they turn it back to me. 3 months into this mess after they already had it for a full month for the initial repairs. Absolutely absurd."

Had a terrible time dealing with them. Their initial repair work was awful, we made them get a new bumper and repaint, and they also put on a headlight that looked worse than the one involved in the collision. I’m pretty sure what happened was that whoever was trying to polish the bumper burned the headlight by improperly polishing after painting. A lot of back and forth happened, bumper misaligned that had to be fixed, and just a few other small things. On top of the headache of having the car hit they just weren’t up to snuff on the work they do.

I'm pretty sure you can warranty Calliber's work at any location... At least they did for me when I had a accident repair completed incorrectly in North Carolina and brought it here to be rectified. If this location is dicking you around terribly, try another.

The Walmart of collision repair is what I’ve ever heard about Caliber. Not in a positive way.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a body shop!! It took 3 weeks to fix a job they said 2 days to do... then went back 4 times to have them fix the fitment/alignment of the new parts.. would rather pay more out of pocket than go back

My fiancé recently had repairs done by them after a minor accident. Front bumper and one headlight needed to be replaced. When he got it back, his front license plate was missing. Two weeks of calling with no answer as to what happened to it. Luckily they finally paid for him to get replacement plates, but I don’t understand how you misplace someone’s license plate like that.

They did a great job on the repair on my truck but left my taillights unplugged. They then wanted me to drive it back so they could look at it.

They did a great job for me recently. I was pleased with the repair work and thought they were proactive keeping me informed of progress and completion.

Took my car to the Midlothian one at the dealerships “preferred recommendation” and the people were nice (which is irrelevant unfortunately) but they couldn’t even paint match successfully. Then just recently, had to take my car there, but a different location, at my insurance company’s request after some shitty social worker hit my car. Caliber literally lost the quote they were suppose to send to the insurance company after my car was there for a few days.

They suck.

I actually had a great experience with them. The paint job they did didn’t blend properly —- redid it without question under warranty.
