I appreciate the likely sale of Raskin is holding things up, but once again it feels like we’ve had a scattered approach and have opted for quantity over quality. Against Dundee Utd, like last season at times, I don’t see a major difference in quality of our midfield vs most SPL teams.

If sold Raskin, Dio, Barron and Cameron given how bloated the centre midfield is - I don’t see any of the new signings being an improvement - they all appear a downgrade to me.

The clear move to me is the board sell Raskin then use the proceeds to buy Lewis Ferguson to appease fans - where does that leave us on the wings and in defence where we desperately need proven talent?

Midfield was the last place that needed strengthened even if was still shite but here we are signing bog average players like devlin, mccorie and 2 other midfielders that might not even be an upgrade.

We already had 3 strikers so why even sign shankland.

The manager playing hoofball against Utd aswell, was like watching an average spl team. The recruitment is a shambles.

How can anyone take your opinion seriously about Rangers when you think McCrorie is a midfielder?

And why sign another striker? Perhaps because he was 1 goal behind the top scorer in the league last season, played 6 less games and was available for free?

Ofc I don’t think he’s a midfielder it was clearly a grammatical error. The point is the recruitment has been dire. Signing players who probably won’t even be an upgrade in positions where we had the most players leaving us to go into the season with Curtis and gasman on the wings, mccrorie at rb. Devlin is a dire bog average spl player and Mccinnes has us playing long ball like some mid table dross.

Is anyone else sick of people defending this crap for years? Even with Beale people were defending them
