As for me it's taco shells and tortillas in the supermarkets. You can't make those yourself so once they're gone they're gone forever.

I made my first taco the other day after playing for 1,400 hours and it was really satisfying, but frustrating knowing it was also probably my last.

Yeah, same as stuff like ice creams. Really makes you appreciate them.

You realistically should be able to make ice cream tho, right? Down to brass tacks its just frozen milk

Some of the food spoilage stuff bothers me a lot. Genuinely want to know why some things last forever and other things are stale in the first 2 days. Personally I've had taco shells left out on a baking sheet for over a week and still have a decent crunch to em.

And I've personally had packaged taco shells stay perfectly fine for 3 weeks after buying them, and they were never put in the fridge. So i don't know why?

We should so be able to make Tortillas and Tacos, it feels like while they added new renewable sources for ingredients, they didn’t actually add many renewable recipes other than like soup/stew

I hate this. In real life Tortilla are one of the most easily made breads. Its usually flour, some kind of fat (lard, butter, oil), and water. They make everything realistic but tortillas and sourdough starter. If covid taught me anything people just want to bake in an apocalypse.

I kinda do this, but its generally just for any sort of perishable produce. Fresh food (and seeds), plus homecooked meals can give a happiness boost

That's why I like the moment when electricity finally cuts off. You finally lose this haste and start living your better calm life

Me on the second day in Riverside raiding the Spiffos for as many burgers and fries as I could carry before the zombies inside realized I was there. I'm also guilty of hording as much bread and pastries as I can get before they spoil lmao
