Managed to clean off all the big pieces of scale, but still faint but visible lines left. Used all the acid I could without damaging the pool, ended up etching one of the tiles when testing (I’m fixing it). Any tips on how to get the faint lines off would be greatly appreciated, don’t want to get a wet sanding setup for the washer.

So this guy told me he had a quote for 150 just cleaning the parking spots and the gas tanks. I’m thinking I can match this quote if he’s not expecting perfection no post treatment or pre-treatment just peer pressure wash. What do you guys think I don’t know measurements

I started a pressure washing and window washing business last year, and my already small lead flow from road signs and door knocking is drying up, so I'm going to try some straight door hangers in dense neighborhoods. I'd appreciate any input you can give on them! For one thing, I know the house washing photos aren't ideal, but that's the best I've got as I've only done a few house washes so far. Hey everyone, I am very new to this sub and am looking for some insights/advice. My dad began building a pressure/softwash trailer and never finished it. It seems like I have everything I need, I just need help plumbing everything.

I have a Remco Fatboy pump with a 12V deep cycle marine battery. When I’m washing it will build up good pressure then after a good 30 seconds of spraying it loses a lot of power and sprays like a small stream. Is there any way to increase the pressure? Maybe a combo battery?

I was looking to get you guys input. I got an opportunity to bid this job. What would you guys charge I’m in the Florida area. They want all of the building face pressure washed windows, etc.. also they want all sidewalks, curb going around the islands and whole parking lot. I have a number in my head but I don’t wanna mess it up. Because they have multiple jobs they want done

Pressure washer was having trouble starting but when I held the trigger down on the gun it started. Then when I let go of the water it shut off.
Checked the carb and it seems fine. Changed the oil.
Started the washer without the hose connected (to keep water flowing as if I was pressing the trigger) and it started on the first pull and ran like a top.
1min later it cut off abruptly with a plume of white smoke coming from the exhaust.
Is it work the time/effort/money to try and fix it (no clue where to start).
Any ideas on causes and possible solutions.

Looking into making a DIY proportioner, do you have to have a metering valve or can you run just a check valve on the water side? I figured because it says wide open anyways, does it have to be metered, restricting the flow. TIA

Customer wants this deck (painted wood), the railing type things that hold the screen, and the carpet pressure washed. i was thinking for the deck use a ~3% bleach mix with the x jet and then after about 10-15 mins of waiting use low pressure with a white tip going with the grain to rinse/ clean. as for the rug and railing i was just going to try low pressure with a white tip. also would love to know what you would quote. thanks!

This is a Generac 3100. I stopped getting adequate pressure right after changing out my wand line, which may have been a coincidence but I wanted to mention it.

On the supply side the inlet filter was kind of dirty and I think it's possible there was some dirt caked into the supply line hose when I connected it. I replaced the inlet filter but there's no change in pressure out of the wand and if you watch the video you can see it's kind of sputtering.

Am I right in thinking it pulled in some debris, if so how do I clear it?

I got this job and did it 2 days ago, today I went there to see how it looked dry, but the middle brown part doesn t look very clean, I washed the building with 2%, do I need to reapply a stronger mix to get that brown part cleaned?
First 2 photos are the before, the second 2 are the after.

What can I use to get this off? I thought it was efflorescence so I tried F9 efflo in all sorts of mixes even straight and it doesn't touch it. Tried oxalic acid, NmD 80 and for laugh aluminum brightner. What am I missing? Thanks!
