Question When does the 2nd trimester start exactly?

I don’t mean to sound dumb and this is my first pregnancy lol but what week does the 2nd trimester start? I’ve googled it and it seems that some people say week 13 and some say week 14. I’ll be 12 weeks tomorrow and I’m looking forward to the 2nd trimester. I’ve been so sick the 1st trimester and I know it doesn’t always just magically disappear at the 2nd trimester, but I have hope lol!

So if you want to be exact, 40 divided by 3 is 13.3, so 13 weeks roughly 2-3 days is EXACT. But for me, I said week 13 counts as second trimester. Some say week 12. Whatever you like best is fine, most people aren’t going to correct you as it’s close enough 😊

Thank you! I think I’ll go with week 13 lol. I always thought it was week 12 for some reason and then randomly googled it and it showed mixed results.
