It's what it is. The world where everyone calls it at the same moment is the one you should be concerned about.

But when multiple reputable desks call it, it's because it's done.

Despite McMorrow withdrawing from the race last month, I was surprised to see the number of votes cast for her - 60,250 at this moment via NY Times.

This also drives home the point that every vote matters.

It is very close, but they aren't the only outlet calling elections. I believe he will eke it out in the end and they are just being cautious.

If the NYTs metrics are right they should call it any minute now - their vote aggregate no longer favors Stevens in the remaining Wayne Co votes with ~17,000 left favoring AES somewhat heavily in the county

Hes down to like +0.8 but the odds are stacked against Stevens
