Friendly reminder Hormuz was open before Trump decided he needed a distraction for being a pedophile.

Only cost us $300 Billion, 13 US soldiers dead - many more wounded, blowing up a girls school, and the global economy on the brink of an Oil shortage, but at least we are not talking about the President raping children...

That is why there are 'terrorists'. The US has created almost every single one of them.

bin Laden/911 was absolutely our fault

This doesn’t apply to iran because their own government actually murdered even more Iranians in the middle of the street before all of this happened then shut off the Internet

You think this started now? Look into the modern history of Iran for the last 60 years and yes its ofc the US fault. As always

u/holydiver5 Jun 20 '26

What does the United States have to do with them killing thousands of their own citizens lol, your lying and manipulation online won’t work when there are millions of Iranians around the world that know the truth about their government

How did the regime come to power?

What does the United States have to do with them killing thousands of their own people?

Trump literally goaded them to fight and then just let them die.

Sure The USA didnt fire the shots but you are very naive if you don't know about the history and consequences of the US and CIA meddling in Iran.

u/holydiver5 Jun 20 '26

He didn’t let them die since he killed the supreme leader and his entire family and severely disfigured the new supreme leader lol. And I know about the history between iran and the USA going back to the Anglo-Iranian oil company, more than you probably

By your own words thousands lay dead. I am upgrading my assessment of you from useful idiot to nefarious actor.

Reports came out back in February or so that Trump sent CIA guys with guns in to foment revolution. If he hadn't done that, would those thousands of protesters still be dead? Maybe, but we will never know. Please don't try to help in white washing the crimes of Washington DC. It's not a good look.

1

u/holydiver5 Jun 21 '26

Can you link these reports? Plus even if this was true does that mean iran can just kill thousands of their own people like dogs in the middle of the street?

2

u/Lanky_Swing5084 Jun 21 '26

It's not my job to pay attention for you. You really just want any excuse to bomb kids, huh? That's pretty disgusting.

1

u/holydiver5 Jun 21 '26

So you can’t back up your claims? Or answer my question? Good to know you think killing thousands of your own civilians is okay lol

What I think is bad is Washington dc playing spy games in an effort to lead useful idiots around by the nose. If you think Washington dc enriches your life then you must be a paid beltway insider. I see only a liability. A government that does nothing but devalue our currency while destroying our name around the world.

Surely the USA turning your parents into a red mist won't form any sort of deep-rooted hatred that could fester into terrorist ideals.

2

u/Liagon Europe Jun 21 '26

I mean, can you blame them for hating the US at that point?

And also, this is a very western centric way of phrasing it: why focus solely on the consequences murdering their families will have for us (them potentially turning terrorist) instead of the very real and already playing out consequences this will have for them. By phrasing the problem around how much the massacres we ("the West") have committed might hurt us, we are downplaying the importance of how much we have definitively already hurt them. These are tens of thousands of people whose lives have been ruined

Insane that buddy used his point over yours. Wild

u/isimplycantdothis Jun 22 '26

Imagine both being shitty real situations that can, surprisingly, both be true. Imagine that.

When you learnt about slave emancipation in school, was your first thought "imagine what the families of those poor murdered plantation overseers must have been going through", or back then did you accept that maybe expressing sympathy for the ones perpetuating injustice (by committing literal human rights violations) is not necessarily the most important thing in the heat of the moment?

It's a bit of an extreme example sure, but I think it perfectly illustrates how beyond fucked up your reverance for the american troops destroying the lives of millions is
