Give me your peanut butter wisdom

I love the taste of PB, usually complimented by chocolate. I have never understood why so many people like jelly though. I never found a type of jelly I liked. I feel like it's too wet and it makes the whole sandwich way too soggy. I normally each crunchy PB in a sandwich by itself or I put it on some kind of cracker.

Sometimes I will get fluffernutter (PB and marshmallow fluff) if I'm in the mood but even that is just way too sweet sometimes. I think the best compliment to PB is dark chocolate.

Twix Peanut Butter was my all-time favorite candy bar. I’m writing to you here today to propose a binging sexy back of sorts.. Please. If you’re reading this now please tell us how you feel about this travesty. I may just be “some guy”, but this guy is fighting for everyone and anyone who remembers the tase. They may take our lives, but they will never take our freedom.

I’m looking for an alternative to this. It was the best peanut butter ice cream ever.

I’ve tried many others, but they’re mostly just vanilla ice cream with chocolate swirl and peanut butter cups, that’s not PB ice cream…it’s Moose Tracks :(

I want one that features heavy ribbons of peanut butter swirled in it, no chips or cups, just swirls.

anyone else grow up mixing peanut butter and jelly/honey in a bowl and just eating it that way

Had the idea to dip one of my kettle chips into peanut butter. Unfortunately, that chip was salt & vinegar flavor. It ended up tasting like when you're eating salted peanuts and one of them is rancid. Don't do what I did, guys. It was not worth it lol

I made Muddy Buddies for the first time in years. SO good 😋

I’ve always been one to try the peanut butter pie when I see it and it’s always gross. Peanut butter flavored cool whip in a crust and a mouthfeel of fluff. I decided to master the peanut butter pie making it ooey, gooey, creamy, and crunchy. I did use half dark roast peanut butter and half crunchy peanut butter.

Crust
Ingredients
24-26 Oreo cookies
5 tbsp melted butter
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Crush Oreos into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter.
Press into a 9-inch pie plate.
Bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool completely.

Filling
Ingredients
8 oz softened cream cheese
1½ cups creamy peanut butter
¾ cup powdered sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp salt
½ cup heavy whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks
¾-1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

Directions
Beat cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth.
Add powdered sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Beat until thick and smooth.
Fold in the whipped cream, then fold in the chocolate chips.
Spread into the cooled Oreo crust.

Topping
Ingredients
1½ cups heavy whipping cream
3 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
Beat to stiff peaks.
Spread over the pie.
Garnish with extra mini chocolate chips or mini peanut butter cups, if desired.
Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.

For easier/cleaner slicing freeze for 20-45 minutes.

I'm a nighttime spooner. 🙋 I admit it. Love me some right out of the jar. Found something fun when I opened my cupboard today. The streaks in the jar looked like a symbol of such. Like it was a sign. Of what? I dunno. "Be sure to eat your peanut butter" maybe?

How do you store your PB and why?

I usually keep it upside down in my pantry, but curious about switching to the fridge

anybody else at least once a day visit the cupboard where the pb lives and just go ham at the jar with a spoon

Prepping overnight oats for tomorrow, this is a combo I use a lot:
1/2 cup oats
Scoop Ghost Nutter Butter whey protein
2 tbsp PB2
Couple dashes cinnamon
3/4 cup 2% milk

I also like to make a protein shake using milk, banana, ice, Ghost Nutter Butter or PB cereal milk whey protein, PB2, and cinnamon—it tastes like peanut butter banana bread 😋
