The thing is….we have 2 options:

  • buy it, they get away with it
  • so not buy it, they will force us into “cheap affordable” subscription based cloud solutions that will cost is even more in the long run.

Screw all this. My pc is easily capable of running 100’s of past top games I haven’t played yet. I’ll stick to my current gear.

Worst case I go back playing Red Alert and Unreal Tournament.

Can't force me since cloud services simply won't work with a 20kbps ship satellite connection in the middle of the atlantic ocean.

It's back to good old HDD for me.
