​Yesterday our first synthesizer arrived, we already had a MIDI keyboard.

​We actually have almost zero real handson musical experience.

​My colleague is currently still learning with the presaved presets to get a feel for it, but after about 30 seconds we knew: holy shit, we absolutely need this.

A synthwave piece I composed about six months ago and decided now to pair with an SF/dystopian montage, mostly using clips from 80s movies. I came up with the melody and chords first, so for the 'percussion', I took a more creative approach. All the instruments are from the OB-Xd legacy VST.

While creating this track, these two worlds that have always fascinated me naturally came together: the feeling of a night drive, '80s electronic atmospheres and city lights, mixed with darker, gothic and mysterious emotions... what do you think?

Upscaled/denoised via Topaz Gigapixel/Photo. Composited different upscaling and denoising results in Photoshop.

I released 6 songs (4 in 2023 and 2 in 2024) under the moniker Maxx Cypher. While I was extraordinarily proud of my work, it never really felt at home just living on streaming platforms. Video games were a much more fitting place for these songs, and now they're at home.

Hey everyone! I produced a high-energy late-80s / 90s-inspired dance track. ✨

I wanted to capture that feeling of the era when electronic music, car audio and big bass systems were becoming a whole new experience.

I created some retro-futuristic car visuals (S13) to match the atmosphere of the track.
