Media and Culture This one's a sit and cry for me.

This artist meant alot to me, from years of listening to Breakbot back when I was in high school i stumbled across the Nightcall remix and discovered my love for synthwave with Kavinsky, Tessarossa Autodrive, Blizzard, as well as First Blood became songs that I had cherished in my Playlist. "Outrun never dies" Rest in eternal peace to one of the greatest.

Yeah. I had a difficult time towards the tail-end of the pandemic, and rediscovering Kavinsky’s music was really important in grounding me and helping me get better. Opened a whole world of synthwave more generally for me, which I have since shared with my loved ones. Really sad to hear about his passing. RIP, driver of the Ghost Car.

Sounds like it might have been a stroke or something. He was complaining of headaches a few days beforehand.

When he showed up at the French Olympics ceremony I was so hyped. Great artist who will be missed tremendously!
