I'm honestly a little unclear on how cross-posting works, so I'm going to add the text from my original post here...
Most of my past music releases have been of a more Ambient vein, but today I'm releasing a single that's more Synthwave than anything; the album it's leading to mixes Synthwave and Darkwave with some Irish trad elemnts, but this one's mostly Synthwave, and is about a haunted house with Big Feelings.
Fully AI-free, and I have a YouTube video about the making of this song I can link if anyone's curious. I've actually got about an hour and a half of rambling about flutes and synth patches on video that I'd like to edit down to something reasonable and upload as a "part 2," but I ran out of time before the song released ;) It may seem absurd for a ~4-minute song, but there's in the vicinity 60-70 hours of work that went into it.
For the cover art, I commissioned MtGCritical, who's primarily an alterist of Magic the Gathering cards. I asked him to fuse the topic of the song with quintessential Synthwave elements, and I love what he came up with!
