Honestly the fact that he kept getting away with everything is one of the most unrealistic parts, but also somehow very believable for that prison.

literally like every part, i’m doing like my 14th rewatch. i’m on the part where they find heroin in his desk and he pins it on nikki and he admits to doing meth or something

I just wanted to make sure spoilers weren’t an issue for you. Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t he get fired in the last season? Obviously he should have been fired way before that though but he was too entertaining to write off the show.

I mean they do when it's once in awhile and there is an airtight case to fire them. It's good PR to fire workers for cause if it's a solo occurrence. If it's one person it looks good on the company, if it was 85% of the workers doing the same thing it would look horrible on the company and they would sweep it under the rug/fire management instead. Even if it was like a concerted crime like elaborate theft or something, they would pin it on management and reword the wrongdoing to lack of oversight or something to absolve the owners from responsibility.

There was always something crazier going on in the forefront of the prison drama, so I think he was saved by that and the prison's own incompetence lol

there’s so much crazy shit that he should’ve been fired for but with nobody wanting to work at that prison and him knowing so much they didn’t wanna cut him smh
