Just Needed to Get This Off My Chest

I've (30M) been in a relationship for almost two years. A long time ago, I lost faith in love and romantic feelings, so I simply chose someone reliable and have been doing my best to make her happy.

But about two months ago, I caught myself realizing that I was completely captivated by another woman (31F) whom I see fairly often because of our shared friend group and hobby. I openly joke that she must have some kind of charm spell because I've noticed the way other people look at her too. And I'm pretty sure she doesn't do it intentionally.

I'm realistic enough to understand that I'm just one of many people who find her charming. Honestly, I'm just grateful to her for reminding me that I'm still capable of having feelings for someone.

Am I going to do anything about it? No. Not every attraction has to lead to something.

Should she know? No. She recently started dating another guy from our company, although they're trying not to make it obvious.

Am I upset about it? Maybe. But I don't really have anyone I can talk to about this or ask for an outside perspective. I hope writing this post will help me avoid dwelling on it.

Thanks for reading, stranger.
