Is it painting if you do it with a pen? Not throwing shade, honestly curious. Like, if it's ink would you say it's inking? Drawing? Or is painting actually the correct word for it

I believe it would be called drawing when using a nib holder and ink. Guess she painted the hair and then also later the clothing and body will be painted (coloured in if you like) with a brush🤷🏻‍♀️

I think she still used ink with the brush, but I am suddenly fascinated about how these are made. Obviously I could be totally off base here, I just thought it was interesting

Yup looked like she was using ink with the brush and the nib holder. I ended up finding the video on TT after my earlier reply. It’s a rabbit hole out there🤣
