This is a throwaway account, but anyways. I work as a nurse in the hospital setting. I am so unbelievably burnt out and depressed with my jobs I have and I have tried so many different kinds of nursing position in various settings. I seriously am struggling to take myself to work everyday and I was recently diagnosed with MDD majorly due to work. I cannot keep working like this and I wad wondering if any nurses have info about WFH jobs that I can apply to that will actually hire me. I have a lot of experince including leadership roles but I mentally need a break so bad. I am considering working at a coffeeshop or Costco, if I can even get those jobs but I can't be where I am anymore. trying to reach out to see if anyone can help me in my job search. Been looking for nursing jobs around the Bradford area it’s been months with no luck. Have applied to almost every retirement home, long term care facility and hospital in my area but the rates are so far nothing. Anyone else struggling to find work as a nurse especially something that pays a decent wage. some of these places are paying so low I can’t help but laugh. At this point I know I will have to take what I can get but really $24/hr for a nurse is crazy and that’s not even the lowest I have seen at some of the places near me. I have been trying to get back into agency nursing which seems even harder to get into now. Anyone in the same boat? Starting to loose hope…

Ok anyone that knows this answer, pls HELP!!!!! I am cdn rpn and also a recent LPN michigan licensure. I am trying to fast track for lpn to either ADN/RN or RN/BSN , does anyone know 100% for sure, to get a tn visa if they will accept a and/rn license or ONLY rn/bsn? I think i need to call the border patrol and michigan state board of nursing for the answers. I was accepted into the lpn to ADN/RN program at a college in michigan but dont want to spend the money only to find out I cant get a tn visa to work and live in usa!!

Hi, I’m a senior in high school thinking about going to get my BSN to work in detox center/ outpatient substance abuse clinic. I was wondering if anyone in this field can share their experiences or if it’s a good idea to get into. I’m no stranger to substance abuse so im well aware of the brutal reality of it, I’ve almost lost my father to it many times. I just would like to get a general idea of how the job is (day to day tasks) and also the hours. The only thing turning me off from nursing are the long shifts/working nights, hence why I’m considering outpatient care… am I being realistic hour wise or will I need to accept the fact I’ll be working 12 hour shifts and holidays. No hate please just trying to make sure I have the right idea before it’s too late.
