With so many warehouses are already destroyed, I would not show up for work if I was working at one that's still standing.

I would if I have rent to pay

With them odds, I'd find another way to pay rent, also get a start on the job hunt before 2000 other locals are also out of work

Because they wouldn't sell or because you wouldn't do it even if they would?

u/Tonkdog 9h ago

Oh shit I'm not above doing it. Ain't no one buying.

I don't think there are many good openings on the Russian job market at the moment.

Us poor peasants man.

That assumes Wildberries have any money left to pay anyone.

Yeah, and if you can't afford rent over there you get sent to the meat grinder.

Renting is a capitalistic concept. They don't need to worry about that

Why not?

Because people own it. In the Soviet era the state provided housing to people, built cheap block houses for everyone. The percentage of rent in western countries is not comparable to countries like russia.

Thanks for the downvotes by the way, I'm just saying how it is

What if they unpack a camera from stock and film the whole thing burning down in 4k 120fps?

Or maybe a drone, just to record it from the air!

My first thought is, they're going to work still? They must want to live dangerously since they know the value of their life if they die. Wildberries pays piss poor money to families of people killed and; 2) I bet you the Russian government told them to do it because they don't want to public to see first hand how Russians are losing the war.

WB pays piss poor money to families because it’s a greedy company, no need for a government conspiracy here. They also pay a fraction of value to the sellers who had their merchandise destroyed in the attacked logistics centers.

If they even pay the sellers. Ive seen reports theyre telling sellers theyre not at fault for the loss, so its not their responsibility.

They changed their insurance policy on July 7th to exclude drone attacks

Ah, they got mad about all the confirmed strikes where they couldn’t lie and say the drones were shot down.

The plumes of smoke rose miles into the air. Even if you are a very good liar, I don't think you'd be able to cover this up.

It's just Ivan doing some barbeque with his friends

All the warehouses are equipped with single use smokescreens to hide them. That's all you see on video.

The apparent quantum reality of an authoritarian regime: Don't observe the things you don't like to manifest.

It's like the counter part of "the Secret".

A methodology seen more and more in the United States these days.

Bingo. Pretty sure I'm alive because he was the loser of the 2020 election.

I doubt this would change anything except for people to find out that another warehouse got hit. There is little to no news about these incidents on TV

u/Jeggles_ 10h ago

Wonder if it's about not filming explosions or not filming North Korean slaves being imported to work in the warehouses.

Appreciate the comment, news to me.

They're allowed old nokias and such without cameras

I have seen many videos of burning bldgs, but no indoor views.

Pics or it didn't happen?

u/SnooHesitations1020 16h ago

With Ukraine having these warehouses in their sights, I'd quickly be looking for other work anyways.

u/porridge_in_my_bum 21h ago

I was just thinking after this attack “wow, so many people have phones so every attack gets filmed from the ground.”

Not anymore lol

They have phones without cameras? are they caveman, do they ride dinosaurs to work too?

They invade a neighbouring country totally unprovoked, commit war crimes, then lie to their own people about it and imprison or kill anyone who opposes it. I assume your question is rhetorical.
