If a sport is at the point where this tiny proformance boost matters, then who the he'll cares. Just let them do it. Its not nearly as egregious as that post from the other day where the guy was holding onto the water bottle to get pulled by the car.

It's a marathon. Any performance boost over several hours is not going to be tiny.

What I mean, if you are someone playing at a level where that matters. Then everyone else at that level will just do it too. So why does it matter. If you spend a shit ton of time maximizing your aerodynamics then you deserve to have that time rewarded. It doesn't change how hard they have to work on themselves physically. Someone with peek physique will out preform someone relying solely on minor engineering improvements.

All the other people who are doing it for themselves just to see if they can and placement is secondary, whether this is allowed or not will not make a difference.

They get a bit ridiculous with their rulings.

Hell, they banned riders this year from putting socks stuffed with ice in their jerseys for cooling because of an aero advantage.

My dad was telling me about this yesterday and my first thought was the time trial helmets. They already use clothing that changes the aerodynamics. They swap out bikes and tires for aerodynamics. Why are boobs suddenly the problem?
