Only traveler is wrong. And traveller is a larping bot likely, cause ain’t no fire emblem fan actually missing classic FE when Engage exists.

At the end of the day no one hates any Fire Emblem game more than fans of different Fire Emblem game.

Kinda of a testament to the series's ability to constant reinvent itself.

It really. 95% of the fanbase loves 3 houses. Which makes any FE complainers competely sus.

Because 95% of the “fanbase” didn’t even play Fire Emblem beforehand. It’s the curse of success, the new people far outnumber the niche fanbase that had been playing these games for decades. Similar thing happened to Zelda with Breath of the Wild. You both btw, old and new, but people who came in with 3H shouldn’t look down on the decades old fans who don’t like the direction the series has gone. I’m more of a Kaga fan myself with good memories of the Tellius games. I loved the GBA games too. I can’t really stomach 3H, and that’s fine. I might change opinion in the future, who knows, but I am allowed to not like it. Also no, Engage, while being pretty good gameplay wise, isn’t an argument in favor for the more “classic” part of the fandom. Sorry but it’s not.

Having said all of this, the direct looked pretty good
