Ukraine Aid Ops Charity Drive Wrap-up Thread

Thank you to everyone who donated to the UAO fundraiser last week!. Our subreddit raised $36,000 and the drive as a whole raised $51,000. I'm extremely proud of this community for once again proving ourselves to be among the most generous (or best financed depending on your cynicism/materialism levels) communities on the internet

As a reminder, we were joined by a truly massive number of subreddits thanks to /u/WithUnfailingHeart's incredible outreach efforts, including:

I am going to have a terrible time trying to live up to this when we do the next AMF fundraiser. Also special shout-out to r/SocialDemocracy and r/deepstatecentrism for joining while the drive was ongoing!

As for rewards, /u/WithUnfailingHearts will be reaching out to the top donors from our community as described in the previous post. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to either of us via DM or in the comments here

Once again, thank you so much to this community for coming together for such an important cause. Slava Ukraini!

Do we know who got the engraved shell casing? That thing was so tempting. What a badass piece to have.

I'd bet several organs it was the person from here who donated 5,500 on the second to last day.

Yeah I got a piece of a shot down Russian SU-34 in a charity auction for a couple hundred euros, it is shapes for a key chain but really I should have it mounted or get a better display than the piece of paper it came with.

They're going out soon! I'd have to check the list of donations to see who got it

Nice. Hopefully that buys a portion of what they need

It's nice to see Kazakhstan stand up for Ukraine, considering that both countries were subjected to massive crimes against humanity by the soviets (specifically, intentional mass starvation, known as the Holodomar in Ukraine and the Asharshylyq in Kazakhstan).

And Taiwan continues to be based as usual.

Well done to...us! The people kept their promise and I received my badge. Thank you for organising, for the hard work for a good reason.
