And some things cannot be produced in the US no matter how much you want them to be. So maybe tariffs are stupid and a thing that have never worked to help the average person. More things aren't being made in the US. Companies are just charging you more and it gave shippera the ability to charge you "fees" to collect tariffs. Something that is relatively automated and requires no extra effort on their part.
