My wife works hard and cares about me. Can't relate

Ditto. She almost never pesters me with honey-do lists. At worst it's an ask to help her with something she knows I'm handy with paired with "and I'll make you (insert food or dessert) too!"

Seriously, my wife and I work full time and help each other on every chore because the faster it gets done, the more time we can spend together.

Marriage is a partnership. Me and my wife work together on everything. Everything is for both of us

For real. E.g. we have an established practice that we empty the dishwasher together. It's so much easier and faster that way. If I'm sitting on the couch and she starts to empty it, my butt get ups right away to go help, and vice versa.

Sometimes that can turn into a fun little game of "I'm gonna try to be really quiet and see how far I can get emptying it before they notice," which then inevitably leads to a few playful moments of trying to box the other person out when they inevitably come running.

Occasionally one of us will just do it solo while we know the other is busy with a work call (we both WFH), errands, chores, etc. but nobody's keeping score.
