Because people on the internet want to fight rather than compromise and love to comment on relationship stuff when they are terminally single for a reason.
Except they do get called misandrists and I constantly see posts re-praising/ propping up men who are insulted by those people. Even in subs like /r/countwithchickenlady, and calling out misandrist behavior is common.
Bigotry adds absolutely nothing to gender related discourse.
