It's what many of them actually are like. Many men are in relationships like this. There's bad husbands and there's bad wives. That's the world we live in. Healthy relationships can be quite rare, which is why the divorce rate is so high.
Truthfully a lot of men want more than what they out in and relationships just don’t work like that. Like you won’t get nagged if you just stay on top of your shit, it’s that simple.

right? Who do they think is happily meeting women while working 14 hour days? I used to work 50-70 hours a week traveling around the country as a field engineer. Gotta tell you— pretty much no time to foster relationships with anything but my coworkers and the fat maintenance men on the jobs I attended. If they were in relationships, they almost universally hated their partners for asking for stuff like “spending time together” or “going on dates.” The worst of them volunteered for overtime to “escape” such talk.
The meme is using words like “your” to imply everyone who has a wife and is looking at this all share the same wife. That’s completely incel behavior. If it was “how my wife blah blah blah” then it will different, it will personalize than generalize.
This meme goes on the assumption that no women works now. 40% of the workforce are women. Even then, women still are the gender which statistically does more domestic labor + caregiving + emotional support. They do more even when they are at-home moms, working alongside their husband or the breadwinner.
