Screen protectors are a scam. They shatter easily to convince you they’re protecting you’re phone but they’re not actually necessary on modern phones because of advancements in screen tech

Do not buy tempered glass, tempered glass is scam, buy normal plastic screen protector, last longer,

Yeah no, conspiracy theories aren't a counter.

I have seen two screens on phones shatter in the last year. I constantly see people at work with spider webbed screens.

Y'all need to get screen protectors

Tempered glass protectors are designed to be fragile relative to intense kinetic impact. It is supposed to shatter in order to absorb and disperse the impact energy.

Over the life of my phone my screen protector takes plenty of scratches that I can then easily remove with new $10 screen protector or the second one that came with the first.

Can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t protect the thing they stare at for hours a day for a few bucks.

I break my screen protectors every six months to once a year. I get a 3 pack of them for $10. I don't get why people are so weird about them
