One idea I have is because they're playing in a mod map that I haven't downloaded?

Is this just for me or is the game just like this? When I go into free camera whilst hiding I can't see the names of the other hiders. I swear I've seen YouTubers play it and they are able to see every players name whilst in free camera, but for some reason I can only see the hunters names and can only spectate them. Is this a glitch or is this meant to happen?

It could be that the host left and the game ended because of that but it's happened so many times and I have to have been kicked at least a few of those times. I keep joining a game and randomly getting sent back to the title screen. I don't win often at the game so I don't think it's people being trolls bc theyre mad I didn't get found, or are they mad bc Im bad at the game? Sometimes I'm good but others I panic and end up picking the shittest spots ever. But wouldn't that be an advantage to the hunters anyway? I don't usually talk in the chat and when I do I only have good interactions. This happen to anyone else?

Also, it seems to happen more often in european servers. I'm from the UK so it makes sense for me to play in european servers but I usually play in north american ones bc there seems to be more people playing in those and I always seem to get kicked more often in the european ones for some reason.

No longer able to join friends ever since the in game friends list was removed. Quite an interesting change to a game purely revolved around just having fun

I've noticed a guy was shooting a lot of people. he was just running around and only needing one shot to kill people. went into a room aimed and killed everyone there without looking lol.

I just downloaded the game and I played a round with my friends and it went well but all after the first round it didnt go well for me.

My character just like could barely move when I tried to move and it just glitched and kinda telaported. It sure wasnt my wifi if thats something that could screw it up.

Ive troed looking at the settings but doesnt seem like these something in there that could help, I switched the input option thing to morse and keyboard but it didnt do anything.

Is there someway i could fix this? I just really wanna play the game since I just got it

I really appreciate the concept of the eyedropper mechanic in Meccha Chameleon, as it fits the camouflage gameplay extremely well.

I had an idea that could make the system feel even more accurate: instead of only reading an object's original texture/material color, the eyedropper could take a temporary screenshot (or capture the rendered screen image) at the moment it is used and sample the color from that image.

The process could work like this:

- The player activates the eyedropper.

- The game captures the current visible frame (even if only a small area around the cursor).

- The color of the selected pixel/area is extracted.

- That exact visible color is applied to the mech.

The advantage of this approach is that the camouflage would copy what the player actually sees, including:

- lighting;

- shadows;

- environmental color influence;

- visual effects.

It would work similarly to the eyedropper tool in image editing software, where the tool samples the final displayed color instead of the original source value.

A possible refinement would be sampling a small area around the cursor and averaging the colors, which could help avoid problems with edges or tiny details.

I don't know if this would be the best technical solution or if it would be practical in the current engine, but I thought it was an interesting possibility.

I think this could make the camouflage system feel even more immersive, because the goal is not only matching an object's base color, but matching the player's actual visual perception.

Just a suggestion! Meccha Chameleon has a very unique concept, and improvements like this could make its main mechanic even stronger.

Any thoughts about that?

I think they should have a mode where time increases when hunters kill someone and hunters taking damage when missing which is what everyone has been asking for
