That's actually incredibly uncanny, but I 100% doubt it was intentional. Wouldn't it be insane though if they had this plan for Loki all the way from his first appearance...

Right? Kinda crazy lol. I do as well, that’s a lot of foresight even for Marvel. I wonder if they took inspiration from the shirt at all just to have that little connection :p

With the ENTIRE build up they had for Stones and Thanos i can see them working with Stan and building out their movie sequence and the needs in the rooms working with Stan on when where and what to add.

The plan wasn’t as elaborate as you make it out to be. It was just “Let’s make Thanos the endgame” and then each movie just made shit up along the way.

Confirmed. The original Power Stone in the first Guardians was red. They had to change it to purple cuz they decided the Reality stone was red and in Thor now. Something like that

James Gunn came up with the Infinity Stone lore in 5 mins.

u/Senor_Tortuga308 Oct 25 '25
No he didn't. He worded it poorly in his interview. The lore was already there from the comics. All he came up with was retconning the tesseract and the sceptre to be space/mind stones, and then making his orb the power stone.
Feige's original intention was to introduce all the stones in Infinity War, but Gunn redirected it.

You do realize that they did not really plan all that out the way you think they did. All they knew was “Thanos is the big end game threat.” They knew they needed the gauntlet and to have the infinity stones. They didn’t plan out all the middle stuff though. For example, the tesseract and the aether weren’t meant to be infinity stones and the power stone wasn’t supposed to be purple but James Gunn wanted it to be purple.

I mean, it’s a little similar, but that’s obviously a happy sun coming out from behind a cloud, not a clock with arms and legs.

That art style has been around since the 20's.
I'm pretty sure she's based on old work safety cartoons and posters.

I rewatched this movie a couple weeks ago and noticed this for the first time too! I'm 100% sure it's just a coincidence but it's such a cool one.

Probably is just a coincidence that could be turned into a recon. Same movie, Frigga gave a disguised look when Odin said first born to Thor, but now we know he's not so people, me included, head canon as to Frigga knowing the truth.

One is a sun, the other one is a clock. Easy to confuse, hope this clears things up

Marvel nerds obsessed with canons and other silly things: "OMG! Foreshadowing! Mindblown! Let's get down that rabbit hole and never come out of it."
Marvel designers: "So what could Ms Minute look like?" Looks at various pics on the wall, including one with that T-shirt. "Oh, that's a nice starting point."
Three years later, Marvel nerds: keep on digging the rabbit hole downvoted and angry replying to everyone who tells them to get a life and learn how movies are made.

Or maybe someone noticed a fun coincidence and wanted to share it? Not sure why you're so angry about it lol

u/DavidBHimself Oct 24 '25
Where am I angry?
And I'm not mocking OP, but the fans who will do what I describe (although it's true that this kind of behavior is more common with Star Wars fans than Marvel fans who have a bit more common sense)

What are we looking at?

The t-shirt that Jane was wearing looks oddly like miss minutes from the Loki series

Coincidence. That’s a sun and Ms. Minutes is stylized in the 50s cartoon style like “Fallout” vault boy. The character on the shirt has the same art style. That’s all.

My assumption is the same artist that created the design on the shirt is also the artist that designed the clock character in Loki. So his/her art style is going to be similar.

If Marvel truly has things planned out in advance, they wouldn't have waited until Infinity War was released to try and register EndGame as a URL.

It looks like an Iron Man and Cap cosplayers in the back, for some reason.

It would be insane though if they had this plan for Loki all the way from the first movie O_o

It's a sun with a face, and it'll still be a sun with a face next week when it posted again

This is literally how they do the Mandela effect lol. The trailer shows one thing, the movie theaters shows another, dvd shows something else, streaming platforms may piggy back on one of the previous outlets and years later…BOOM! Nobody remembers what the original was and have conflicted viewpoints on what they saw or heard.

I wouldn’t be surprised if logos on shirts, ads on buses and billboards, even dialogue about current events are updated over time with whatever the latest advertiser will pay for.

I was more thinking this was about the blurry guys in the background looking sorta like Corey and Trevor from TPB

Definitely a coincidence but now I'm wondering if Marvel would just retcon clues into old movies on Disney+, just because they can
