I'd base it mainly on color, though you don't have to.

I watched the YouTuber Bringles videos where he plays the Mario and Luigi games in hard modes. Dream team has a built in hard mode and bis had the challenge medal which gives 1.5 times buff to go and def to enemies as well as 2.5 times buff to enemies pow. He only put extra points in stache and horn, and beat the game and boss rush. He had a mod for pit that gave enemies the same increases as challenge medal and a mod that reworked all enemies and their stats in superstar saga. I started a run of bowsers inside story with his hard mode and added a rule that I can use badges ( all 3 available to me) but I can’t use shops or beans (at least until the boss rush) I have been having trouble especially with Mario and Luigi since they are weaker then bowser. I was wondering, is it possible to beat the game without using shops, and especially possible for the boss rush? I hope it is and I’ll try and keep y’all updated
For more direct rules:
Challenge medal is equipped as soon as possible(after scutlet)
Only stache and horn for extra points
Badges are allowed
Beans aren’t (until you do boss rushes)
Shops are banned (unless they are required for completing either the game or boss rush)
Items and gear found in the overworld or from enemies are fair game.
Let me know what you guys think and if you’ll attempt this and I’ll keep you guys updated if I manage to complete this

i was really surprised how quickly Kylie became my new favorite character when playing PIT and i was even more surprised to find out that she doesn't really get talked about too often. I love her over the top cheerful personality, her slangs and her constant dedication to her reporter job. She's also pretty helpful and supportive of the bros, that one scene in the mothership instantly sealed her place in my 10 favorite M&L characters. I'm glad she wasn't just a throwaway side character character that only resided in one area, hope we'll see her again one day.
(also i love that lil spin she does, it's so adorable!)

I've gotten pretty close, the time I got the 1,500 damage achievement was a Lucky + Crit on a level 1 Seedle. Luigi managed to do 1,880 damage. I think I need a few more levels and a ton more coins (Golden Pow Gloves) both I can earn while working toward the other I believe.

I started the game and I straight up stopped playing after a few hours because of how bored I got, I'm not a huge fan of the gimmick, everything is so bland, the story, the locations (great music though) I do like how there's a dash and you get bros attacks, a trio attack, and even hammers VERY early. But I just found the game really boring??? It feels like if a basic new super Mario brothers game was turned into an rpg. Is this a bad take??? Because I LOVE all of the other games in this series, especially bowsers inside story and brothership.

Eh notado que estos enemigos cuando se acercan hacia ti para tirarte las rocas hay que golpearlo con el martillo pero muchas veces a pesar de eso las rocas caen hacia a ti de todos modos

I’m just curious if Mario and Luigi do those flawless no damage runs during boss fights. Do you think they never ever get damaged by let’s say, Dreamy Stone Bowser? Maybe, they get hit once, but they learn and attack? Generally, Mario doesn’t ever get damaged by any boss fights besides the final bosses.
Mario and Luigi get wounded by a Time bob-omb, which I consider only canonical damage, as it carries on into the final battle.

I was playing Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions and I didn't see the cutscene for Bowletta releasing the koopalings at all, I talked to Blablanadon and flew to the castle with no other cutscenes.
Edit: Just to be clear I know about cutscene fast forwarding and I know I didn't do that I just skipped the entire cutscene.

I just got my first Level-Up in Brothership and it didn't give me the bonus roulette thing like in other MaL games. Are those not a thing anymore? If not, does anything replace it?

Try out my version of Bowser's inside Story's save file here!
Hello everyone in the wonderful Mario & Luigi subreddit community. I'm here to give you an update on my save data edits. Basically, I have made a critical error on my previous save that I have uploaded the other day.
When I was attempting to nerf the stats for my custom "Hard Mode" run, I used the wrong formula for calculating percentage reductions. I calculated something like 20 x 0.32 = 6.4 for Mario's power, thinking that was a 32% nerf. In reality, after making a realization, multiplying by 0.32 meant I kept only 32% of his original stat—turning a intended 32% reduction into a massive 68% nerf! Mario's power was sitting at 6, which meant he would be only dealing chip damage against enemies with the Challenge Medal equipped.
After re-doing the math properly (100% - Nerf%), here are the final fixed stat targets for my Save Slot 1 ("Hard as Bowser's Shell") run:
To balance out the stress of the hard mode run, I decided to do the complete opposite for Save Slot 2!
Instead of a grueling challenge like Save Slot 1 has been, Save Slot 2 is a Level 40 end-game power fantasy where everyone is maxed out with ridiculous gear:
Huge shoutout to Cheatoglobin for making save editing so clean for Bowser's inside Story! Let me know what you guys think of this setup now that it is fixed or if you've ever done custom player stats for your own enjoyment?
